Some users may face with some errors when you launch XL-EasyGantt or when you click on the pop-up calendar to pick the dates. This most likely is due to the lack of the proper calendar control on your system which normally is installed with Microsoft Excel.

XL-EasyGantt uses the mscal.ocx, calendar control version 11.0 As one of the users has shared, you can get a copy from

http://www.fontstuff.com/mailbag/qvba01.htm

Follow the instructions as shared by fontstuffs to install the calendar control on your system.

Users who are on Windows 7 and using Microsoft Office 2010. You may download the same calendar control and follow the following instructions to register your control on your computer.

FOR 64-BIT WINDOWS 7,

1. Obtain MSCAL.OCX
2. Copy the file to C:\Windows\SysWoW64
3. At the Windows 7 Start Button search area, type "command"
4. Right click the "Command Prompt" banner, and select "Run as Administrator"
5. At the command prompt, enter: %systemroot%\SysWoW64\regsvr32.exe mscal.ocx
6. This should successfully register your legacy MSCAL.OCX.
7. Restart your XL-EasyGantt. The calendar control should work.

FOR 32 BIT WINDOWS 7, HERE'S HOW:

1. Obtain MSCAL.OCX.
2. Copy both files to the following directory: C:\Windows\System32
3. At the Windows 7 Start Button Search area, type "command"
4. Right click the "Command Prompt" banner, and select "Run as Administrator"
5. At the command prompt, enter: %systemroot%\System32\regsvr32.exe mscal.ocx
6. This should successfully register your legacy MSCAL.OCX.
7. Restart your XL-EasyGantt. This should load your calendar control.
